Filmmaker debut!
On Saturday, August 22, Get Into the Spirit made its world premiere at the 26th Annual San Diego LGBTQ Film Festival. Seeing my directorial debut on the big screen at FilmOut San Diego was an incredible way to send this funny, spooky, sexy little film out into the world. The audience laughs were worth the price of admission!
At FilmOut, our movie screened alongside Brendan Haley’s feature Scorch Marks. Earlier that afternoon, I also joined Brendan Haley, Michael Varrati, and Vander Von Odd for a panel discussion on “Queer Horror and the Modern Market.” It was an—ahem—spirited discussion.
Get Into the Spirit stars Adam Huss and Adam Bucci with Nicholas Downs. The movie is presented by June Gloom Productions, executive produced by Michael Varrati, and produced by Nicholas Downs. Brendan Haley created the poster art.
